As an alternative to, or in addition to parking sensors, a parking camera can also be installed at the front or rear of the vehicle. Vehicle specific cameras are also available to ensure a factory look. |
Front Cameras |
A front camera allows the driver to see what normally cannot be seen from the driver's seat, thus greatly improving driver safety.
A pedestrian, biker or small child are only seen at the last second, especially when coming out of 'blind' alleys or around obstructed corners.
With the front camera, you can see to the side
much sooner and stop if necessary.
Ultra-wide horizontal and vertical viewing
angles make it possible and can be operated by
an easy one-button controller. |
Top View |
Displays an image from above down to the lower section of the car. This lets the driver see exactly how close he is to objects in front, which often cannot be seen due to the bonnet shape. Useful for front-on and parallel parking. |
Panoramic View |
Displays a wide view in front of the car. This provides a good view of what is ahead.
Corner View |
Displays a split screen of images to the left and right. The driver can see if anything is coming (car, child etc.) whilst pulling out with blocked vision from a blind alley for example.

Rear Cameras |
The rear view camera comes with an image processor (black box) and a control switch. It offers
different viewing modes as shown below. Standard view shows what is behind. Corner view displays a split screen of left and right views for easier turning while reversing. Top view
shows how close you are to objects, like looking
down from above. Panorama view gives a 180
degree view so you can check that nothing is
behind the car. |
